Handcrafted from a pure copper of 0.57mm ( .020") thickness. The same thickness is utilized in the construction of roofs. Tiles are very hard, resistant, and durable. They are secured with fine grade microcrystalline wax same as used in Renaissance Wax British Museum. Copper will age gradually and beautifully with time. Soft cloth, mild soap and tepid water is best for cleaning. Some foods (like ketchup, mustard) and acids may increase changes to the color. Put on wax once a year, if you want to slow down ageing process. Copper tiles can be used outside for walls, outdoor kitchens or vineyards.
