This House Sign is made from Embossed Brass Plate, which is fitted into a solid steel frame. Steel Rivets are hand forged and the frame is 3mm thick. Brass is 0.6mm thick, which is 0.02inch. This plate is very strong and durable.
Frame and brass are both patinated, waxed and oiled in a very conventional style.
Laquer wasn’t used as it can show marks overtime.
